Entry Terms & Conditions (T&Cs)

Introduction

TLC The Lions Club LTD (TLC Lions) the sole owner and organiser of the TLC Lions – Human Awards to be held in London, UK on 13 February 2025. The terms and conditions (T&Cs) below shall apply to these awards. By entering the Awards via our online nomination platform, the individual and company nominees agree to be bound, and abide, by these T&Cs. TLC Lions has the absolute discretion to amend the T&Cs from time to time, with the applicable version of the rules to be as published on the following website: 

Entries and Eligibility

  • All entries must be completed and submitted online by 5pm on Friday May 23rd 2025
  • The length of the submission is limited (see min/max word count on the entry form)
  • Supporting material may be uploaded via the upload facility on the entry form
  • You may attach up to 3 files of supporting material of no more than 4 pages each via the upload facility
  • Supporting material such as independently produced data, industry surveys, extracts from analysts’ reports, testimonials, press articles etc will only be accepted if provided as part of the written submission online. No further hard copy information is required
  • Amendments cannot be made to a nomination once submitted. If a nominee has any concerns about information included in a nomination after it has been submitted, they should contact the TLC Lions team directly at awards@tlclions.com
  • By entering the Awards, the nominees hereby warrant that all information submitted is true, accurate and complete. The Organisers reserve the right to verify any information contained in the nomination and the candidate's eligibility to enter the Awards
  • Should for any reason the event be postponed, your entry will still be valid and will be carried through to the appropriate date
  • The awards are open and inclusive of all individuals (given they are based in the Americas)

Judging

  • The awards will be judged in two stages. The first stage is an online stage and entrants will be shortlisted on the basis of their application entry form submission and supporting documents. There will then be a virtual judging day where the judges will choose the winners of each category
  • The decision of the judges is final. The judges reserve the right to re-classify, re-categorise or reject any entry that does not comply with the requirements of the TLC Lions Human Awards Americas 2025
  • Entries will only be judged on the basis of the information provided to the judges on the entry form and additional supporting material submitted
  • Judges are requested to declare an interest and remove themselves from the process if they are asked to judge an entry that poses a conflict of interest
  • Judges will declare any perceived conflict of interest to the event organisers ahead of reading any entries
  • All entries are treated with the utmost confidentiality. All judges will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement

Disqualification

  • In the event TLC Lions have reasonable grounds to believe a nominee or nominator has attempted to influence the decision of the judges further, by any means outside or in addition to the official nomination, the nominee will be disqualified
  • We reserve the right to disqualify a nomination if it has reasonable grounds to believe that a nominee has breached any of the Rules, any applicable law (any copyright law) or has otherwise infringed the intellectual property of any third party
  • In the event a Winner is disqualified from the Awards, the Organisers will select an alternative Winner in the same manner as the original Winner and such selection will be subject to the terms and conditions outlined in this document

Confidentiality

  • We will respect all data and any financial data submitted as confidential unless given express permission to use it. If there is a particular part or your entry that you would prefer not to be used then please clarify this on the entry
  • All entries will be stored securely on our website and access to any information by our Judges will be strictly monitored
  • By entering the TLC Lions Human Awards Americas 2025, companies are authorising the organisers to use the data and certain visual materials submitted, for the purpose of the awards presentation only and any marketing for the shortlisted and overall category winners
