As the Director of Advisory, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of workforce learning for our clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing strategic guidance, creating bespoke learning programmes and advising clients to ensure the optimal development of their employees and leaders.

From recruiting our new Lions to designing and overseeing the delivery of bespoke learning programmes, this role is full of variety. 

*This role will require in person client meetings & events in London

What does the role involve? (Responsibilities + Duties)

  • Full oversight of identifying and onboarding new Lions (speakers and trainers) on a global basis 
  • Nurturing and maintaining strong relationships with our global Lion cohort 
  • Reviewing our Lions’ (speakers and trainers) new content and ensuring alignment to our potential client needs
  • Coaching  our Lions for upcoming events or workshops
  • Providing timely feedback to Lions following their events
  • Working with our Marketing Executive to manage our Lion cohort, comms and community 
  • Working closely with our Sales Directors to understand the learning and development needs for our key clients and designing learning skeletons for them to share with existing and prospective clients 
  • Once design is finalised, building this out into a succinct proposal with the relevant experts (Lions) involved throughout the delivery 
  • Working with our Accounts team to support key client partnerships who take on bespoke masterclasses
  • Taking kick-off advisory calls with clients to roll out their programme internally and staying close to the delivery to ensure feedback is reviewed and acted upon
  • Providing learnings and insights into market needs and new services for 2025 to shape the future of TLC Lions
  • Turning ideas into actions, trialling and testing new services before going to market 

What are we looking for? 

  • Previous proven experience in programme design and advisory role working at creating leadership and management development programmes 
  • A natural relationship builder – able to nurture and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders 
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, driving innovation in all of your work
  • Ability to build rapport with clients from all backgrounds and industries
  • Extremely competent in juggling several tasks at once and can ruthlessly prioritise according to the company’s needs
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, and pragmatic – able to turn ideas into action “entrepreneurial mindset”
  • Excellent IT and presentation skills to create and deliver compelling proposals and concise emails
  • Ability to learn and understand the stories of all speakers (Lions) at TLC Lions and translate them to link to the goal for a client
  • Receptive to feedback delivered in real-time and being able to make swift changes based on this feedback
  • Able to deliver feedback to our Lions for improvement and lean in to difficult conversations 
  • Enthusiastic, energetic and results-driven
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication skills
  • Excellent SPG (Spelling, Punctuation & Grammar) – which is in our DNA!
Qualifications

5+ years experience in an Advisory role in the Learning & Development space

Essential to have B2B experience working with global companies

Experience in or a desire to work in a high performing, fast working startup environment
