We’re looking for an Events Project Manager to join the TLC Lions team as the company experiences rapid growth across the UK, USA, Middle East and internationally. You’ll be joining our growing Accounts team at TLC Lions to ensure the highest level of service for our TLC Lions clients whether in person/virtual events or those who choose our various bespoke services. You’ll be managing key client relationships ensuring the smooth running of all events, from onboarding through to execution and monitoring feedback and results.

The role requires somebody with the ability to effectively manage a range of tasks simultaneously whilst delivering a consistently high standard of work. While managing new and existing clients, you will also work closely with other members of the team in delivering ongoing operational processes and efficiencies as we grow and bring new ideas to the table. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running from day one and who thrives in the ever-changing world of a start-up.

This role is for someone with extremely high attention to detail, excellent written and spoken communication skills and who has a track record of naturally building relationships with high-profile clients. What does the role involve? (Responsibilities + Duties)

  • Managing the logistics in client onboarding for new and existing clients
  • Deliver end to end virtual or in-person events, from understanding the client brief, handling logistics and managing the Lion (speaker)
  • Managing key client projects, keeping on track of project timelines, utilising gantt charts and communicating with key stakeholders
  • Responsible for collaborating across the wider team in supporting all stages of client relationships and activities as required including internal and external events 
  • Tracking of management data including feedback analysis and improvement data following client events and partnerships
  • Managing communication with our 80+ TLC Lions (storytellers) for each event
  • Supporting with wider TLC Lions research, trend analysis and understanding how client’s changing needs impact our future services
  • Supporting with logistics for the wider TLC Lions team

What are we looking for? 

  • 2-3+ years experience in event and client management that will allow you to problem solve and deliver exceptional event administrative support to our clients
  • Highly adaptive, self-starter, and pragmatic – able to turn ideas into action
  • Extremely competent in juggling several tasks at once and can ruthlessly prioritise according to the company’s needs
  • Efficient with limited resources and able to find solutions at pace
  • Receptive to feedback delivered in real-time and being able to make swift changes and decision based on this feedback
  • Excited by ambiguity and open-ended challenges
  • Can create and deliver effective, compelling proposals and concise, clear emails
  • And great SPG (Spelling, Punctuation & Grammar) is in our DNA!

*Please note this role is fully remote and some travel within the UK will be required for client events and team meet ups.

Qualifications

Ideally BA/BSc with 2-3+ years experience in overseeing projects/events

Salary - experience dependent

Experience

Essential experience in successfully managing client relationships and event operations

Comfortable with Excel, Keynote, PPT, Word and CRM systems (or ability to learn quickly)
