Alexsys Thompson, MLC, BCC has been many things to many people throughout her life; now as best-selling author of The Power of a Graceful Leader, an executive integration coach, founder of Ubuntu Living, Gene Keys Guide, and a member of the Forbes Coaches Council. Her work combines years of experience and study in leadership, talent development, inclusion, and manifestation.
Alexsys’s life tested her in several ways. As a young mother of two in an abusive relationship she was forced to make the difficult decision to leave with limited resources which resulted in filing for bankruptcy and surviving on food stamps. Alexsys was tested again when she fell in love with a woman while married to her second husband. This test saw her go through another divorce, be banned from her church and ostracized from people she thought were her friends, and fired from her job for being gay. Alone once again as a single mother with two teenagers propelled Alexsys’s passion towards success in her career. Her natural ability to lead combined with her fierce drive to produce results sky-rocketed Alexsys to the top of her organisation and profession.
Alexsys’s story is one of self-discovery. The revaluation of her leadership style and her personal identity led her to find courage to become her true, authentic self. A journey that helped create her own path to be the successful woman she is today.

“Engaging, and inspiring. I feel the sessions have opened up our leadership to talk about themselves more, which in turn will hopefully encourage others to do the same.” - Subsea 7
“A sensitive topic brought to life by an engaging and authentic speaker. It is so important and exciting to see these topics entering the big corporation's environment and not as something outside. This way we feel encouraged to discuss such important topics at work.” - Vanguard
