Sean Fletcher

British-American Journalist & TV Presenter

Sean Fletcher is a British-American journalist & TV presenter best known for Good Morning Britain and Countryfile as well as appearing and hosting other national shows. He is an ambassador for the mental health charity, YoungMinds as well as Mental Health Mates and Bowel Cancer UK. When Sean’s son, Reuben began to experience severe mental health issues as a result of OCD he didn’t know how to cope or help Reuben. This took a toll on his family dynamic, his marriage, and his performance at work as he kept it hidden from colleagues, friends and even family. Sean talks about how he felt a weight was lifted following a conversation with Prince William at a charity fundraiser where he spontaneously shared out loud that his son has OCD. This open discussion opened his eyes to his own internal biases and the stigma and misconceptions surrounding the disorder.

This acceptance of his son’s challenges ultimately led to Sean’s passion to share the pain and loneliness that parents of Neurodivergent children experience, highlighting the importance of a strong support network and professional help to elevate both your personal and working life.
