Swetha Akhnoor

Psychologist & HR Professional
Swetha Akhnoor is an organisational psychologist and mental health professional with over a decade of experience driving systemic change within high-growth technology companies and non-profit organisations. While navigating corporate cultures around the world, she has realised that they affect everyone equally and at a deeply personal level.

She recognises that people spend a third of their lives at work, drawing purpose and identity from it, and that investing in wellbeing can combat stress and burnout, strengthen mental and physical health, which in turn enhances workplace productivity. Productivity, in her view, improves when people are empowered by the right work environment.

Swetha believes that employee mental health improves through intentional, systemic efforts, and this is not only good for people but also essential for sustainable business success. She advocates that leaders must invest in mental fitness, wellbeing, healthy management practices and psychological safety for their organisations to truly thrive.

She equips leaders with the tools to be effective coaches and guides teams on topics such as wellbeing as a productivity strategy, understanding organisational health, team dynamics, culture and policy, behavioural change, and using design thinking in the context of wellbeing programs. Her approach uses diagnostics and action planning to address unique organisational blockers, turning training into systemic change that builds healthier, more inclusive and productive workplaces.
